A new tab opens with complete information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diagnose Software Conflicts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There can be software conflicts. It indicates possible conflicting modules.<\/p>\n<p>4. Press Windows Key + X.<\/p>\n<p>5. Click Programs and Features.<\/p>\n<p>6. Right click the conflicting software, select Uninstall option.<\/p>\n<p>7. Follow the uninstall wizard and then restart your computer.<\/p>\n<p>For Earlier Versions of Windows:<\/p>\n<p>All above steps are the same except program uninstallation as given below:<\/p>\n<p>1.Click Start, select Control Panel.<\/p>\n<p>2. Click Programs | Uninstall a Program.<\/p>\n<p>3. Select the conflicting software, click Uninstall button.<\/p>\n<p>4. Follow the removal wizard and restart your computer.<\/p>\n<p>Other steps remain the same.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"fb-root\"><strong>Disable Plug-Ins and Extensions<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"container\">\n<div id=\"wrapper\">\n<section id=\"content\">\n<div class=\"fb-like\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FixWindowsError\" data-send=\"false\" data-show-faces=\"true\" data-width=\"450\">\n<p>Usually Plug-Ins and Extensions are used synonymously. They refer to add-on items installed in the browser by third party programs. Malfunctioning Plug-Ins and Extensions may cause Google Chrome to crash. Click Wrench icon, select Tools | Extensions.<\/p>\n<p>5. Disable all the extensions from the Extensions page.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Repair Chrome Registry Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Google Chrome settings are stored in the form of Registry Entries. Due to corrupt Registry database, Chrome faces problems in retrieving its settings. Double click My Computer desktop icon.<\/p>\n<p>2. Open this directory: C:\\Users\\[USER_NAME]\\AppData\\Local\\Google\\Chrome\\User Data\\Default<\/p>\n<p>3. Delete all sub folders and files from the \u201cDefault\u201d folder. They will be re-created later.<\/p>\n<p>For Earlier Versions of Windows:<\/p>\n<p>1. Press Windows Key + R.<\/p>\n<p>2. Type \u201cAppData\u201d and press ENTER.<\/p>\n<p>3. Browse the following folder:<\/p>\n<p>..\\Local\\Google\\Chrome\\User Data\\Default<\/p>\n<p>4. Remove all files from \u201cDefault\u201d folder.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disable Download Manager Integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Download Manager programs are integrated with the browser. They catch file downloads. The problem arises when your Download Manager fails to perform requested operations. Disable or uninstall the Download Manager.<\/p>\n<p>For Windows 8.1\/ 8 and Earlier Versions:<\/p>\n<p>1. Open your Download Manager program.<\/p>\n<p>2. Click the Downloads menu.<\/p>\n<p>3. Select Options.<\/p>\n<p>4. Click the General tab.<\/p>\n<p>5. Under \u201c<i>Capture downloads from following browsers<\/i>\u201d heading, uncheck the box labelled \u201cGoogle Chrome\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>6. Click Apply | OK.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disable Sandbox<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sandbox is a security feature in Google Chrome. There is a possibility of technical conflicts with Sandbox. Disable the feature and test Chrome. Right click Google Chrome desktop icon.<\/p>\n<p>2. Select Properties.<\/p>\n<p>3. Click the Shortcut tab.<\/p>\n<p>4. At the end of the path specified in the Target textbox, add this command- \u201d \u2013no-sandbox\u201d (without quotes)<\/p>\n<p>5. Click Apply | OK.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activate Incognito Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Check if it works fine with the Incognito Mode. Click Wrench | New Incognito Window.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Use-Incognito-Mode.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-52 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Use-Incognito-Mode.png\" alt=\"Use Incognito Mode\" width=\"486\" height=\"689\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clear Temporary Files and Cache<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Temporary Internet Files and Cache are used to store copies of most frequently visited websites. This speeds-up the browsing speed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Clear-Browsing-Data.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-53 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Clear-Browsing-Data.png\" alt=\"Clear Browsing Data\" width=\"938\" height=\"725\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, corruption in the cache folder makes it difficult to retrieve data and it ultimately ends up with Chrome crash. Clear these locations to get rid of the problem.<\/p>\n<p>For Windows 8.1\/ 8 and Earlier Versions:<\/p>\n<p>1. Click Wrench.<\/p>\n<p>2. Select Tools | Clear browsing data.<\/p>\n<p>3. Select \u201cThe beginning of time\u201d from the drop down box.<\/p>\n<p>4. Check all the boxes except the last one.<\/p>\n<p>5. Click \u201cClear browsing data\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reregister Proxy File<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every DLL file has its entries in the Registry. Due to corruption of those entries you may experience browser crash issue. Press Windows Key + X.<\/p>\n<p>2. Click \u201cCommand Prompt (Admin)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>3. Type the following commands in given sequence. Press ENTER after each of them.<\/p>\n<p>cd C:\\<\/p>\n<p>cd Program Files<\/p>\n<p>cd Internet Explorer<\/p>\n<p>regsvr32 IEPROXY.DLL<\/p>\n<p>4. Finally, type \u201cEXIT\u201d and press ENTER.<\/p>\n<p>For Earlier Versions of Windows:<\/p>\n<p>1. Click Start, point to All Programs | Accessories.<\/p>\n<p>2. Right click Command Prompt, select Run as administrator.<\/p>\n<p>3. Type the same commands given in above paragraph for Windows 8.1\/ 8 users.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reset Security Zones<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Security Zones are specified in the Internet Options dialog box. Incorrectly set-up Security Zones need to be reset again.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Internet-Properties.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-55 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Internet-Properties.png\" alt=\"Internet Properties\" width=\"423\" height=\"542\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For Windows 8.1\/ 8 and Earlier Versions:<\/p>\n<p>1. Press Windows Key + R.<\/p>\n<p>2. Type \u201cinetcpl.cpl\u201d and click OK.<\/p>\n<p>3. Click the Security tab.<\/p>\n<p>4. Select \u201cInternet\u201d icon on top.<\/p>\n<p>5. Move the \u201cSecurity Level\u201d slider to \u201cMedium-High\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>6. Click \u201cReset all zones to default level\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p>7. Click Apply, and then OK.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disable Software<\/strong><strong> Rendering<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your network settings let you either use GPU Rendering or Software Rendering. Disable Software Rendering in order to avoid constant browser crashes.<\/p>\n<p>For Windows 8.1\/ 8 and Earlier Versions:<\/p>\n<p>1. Press Windows Key + R, type \u201cinetcpl.cpl\u201d and click OK.<\/p>\n<p>2. Click the Advanced tab.<\/p>\n<p>3. Under \u201cAccelerated graphics\u201d uncheck the box \u201cUse software rendering instead of GPU rendering\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>4. Click Apply, and then OK.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Change Max Connections Per Server Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This setting is found in the Registry. Make sure that \u201c10\u2033 (without quotes) is specified in its value.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/RegEdit.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-56 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/chromecrashes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/RegEdit.png\" alt=\"RegEdit\" width=\"846\" height=\"525\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For Windows 8.1\/ 8 and Earlier Versions:<\/p>\n<p>1. Press Windows Key + R.<\/p>\n<p>2. Type \u201cRegEdit\u201d and press ENTER.<\/p>\n<p>3. Locate the following key:<\/p>\n<p><em>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Internet Settings<\/em><\/p>\n<p>4. Right click \u201c<em>Internet Settings<\/em>\u201c, select New.<\/p>\n<p>5. Type \u201cMaxConnectionsPerServer\u201d as the key name.<\/p>\n<p>6. Double click it and replace its value with \u201c10\u2033.<\/p>\n<p>7. Close Registry Editor.<\/p>\n<p>8. Restart Windows for the changes to take effects.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disable Automatic Detection of LAN Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whenever specified Google Chrome detects your LAN settings as default. Disable this feature.<\/p>\n<p>For Windows 8.1\/ 8 and Earlier Versions:<\/p>\n<p>1. Press Windows Key + R.\u00a0Type \u201cinetcpl.cpl\u201d and press ENTER.<\/p>\n<p>2. Click the Connections tab.<\/p>\n<p>3. Click LAN Settings button.<\/p>\n<p>4. Uncheck the box labelled \u201cAutomatically detect settings\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>5. Click OK | OK.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uninstall Ad-Filters<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You might be using some Ad-Filter programs. Ad-Filter programs can have conflict with Google Chrome.
