นานมาแล้วที่เราชาวคนทำเว็บต้องทนใช้ฟอนต์ภาษาไทยในตระกูล Web Safe Font(MS Sans Serif, Tahoma, etc…) และถ้าอยากใช้ฟอนต์สวยๆก็ต้องจำใจทำตัวหนังสือให้เป็นรูปภาพ ซึ่งถึงจะใช้ได้แต่ก็มีข้อเสียมากมาย เช่น
